This case study sets out how AgriFI is supporting Paves Vetagro to address challenges associated with quality agrovet input provision, cold chain supply, and climate-induced insecurity in Kenya’s remote arid and semi-arid regions. During fieldwork the Imani Development team heard from Rose Chelimo Cheprot – one of 600 poultry farmers that Paves has integrated into its supply chain with support from AgriFI. Rose’s income from poultry has increased from an average of KSh 1,000 / € 8 per month to KSh 5,000-20,000 / € 39-154 per month since joining Paves’ value chain; she now reports being entirely independent and comfortably pays fees for 3 children in secondary school.
